1996-2007 | Archis and VolumeAmsterdam, the Netherlands

Between 1996 and 2004, I was the editor-in-chief of Archis, a bi-lingual magazine for architecture, urbanism and visual culture. Archis Foundation, an NGO active in publishing, consultancy, and establishing connections between local design communities was founded in need of expertise and the Archis global knowledge network.

In 2005, I revamped the magazine into Volume, an English-only magazine for architecture to go beyond itself, to challenge its limits and discover new roles in society.

Archis as organization continued as an experimental think tank devoted to the process of real-time spatial and cultural reflexivity and action, comprising of three departments:
Archis Publishers
Archis Interventions
Archis Tools
